Elen was founded in 1986 by Eng. Antonio Iezzi, already active for years as a designer in leading telecommunications and defense companies. It began as a design and consulting firm for highly innovative electronic devices. In 1990 it started producing control units for agricultural tractors. It later expanded its product range with sensors, onboard computers, voltage detectors, and electronic accelerator pedals. In 2007 it began developing a range of intelligent sensors aimed at providing innovative solutions to problems not addressed by traditional components.
